CHEFS - 32-40 HOURS A WEEK

£ 11.25/11.50 h (LOCATION DEPENDANT)

We are looking for new chefs to join our wonderful team, please see the job requirements and personal requirements below and get in touch if you're interested in working for us, making delicious vegan sushi whilst pioneering ethical business. We love working with people who are proactive, self-responsible, kind and hard working with a passion for high quality food and hospitality.  Full training is given and organisation, attitude and adaptability is more important than lots of experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITES
● Previous experience of working in a kitchen
● Communication with Supervisors and Kitchen Assistants to oversee all food production
● High outputs of consistent and very efficient food/vegetable prep
● Sole responsibility for stock management and rotation
● Stock ordering from verified suppliers
● Efficiently working in a kitchen with a standardised menu and high output
● Problem solving and thinking on your feet
● Working with the Head Chef to ensure correct quality and quantity of items from our central prep kitchen
● Cooking our sushi rice
● Cleaning, deep cleaning and washing up
● Making and packaging sides
● Working with deep fat fryers
● Good understanding of ingredients and allergens for our vegan & gluten free menu.
● On feet being active for all of the day, lifting stock, hands on work. Long shifts over a 3-4 day work week.
● Sushi experience not necessary as training will be provided.
● Regular virtual communication with the rest of the team via Slack(daily kitchen handover, stock updates and other issues as they arise)

STORE SUPERVISOR - 30+ HOURS A WEEK

£11.35 h (WORKING ACROSS TWO FAST FOOD STORES)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
● Previous experience of supervising a team in a hospitality environment
● Dry stock and packaging management, organisation, ordering and rotation
● Managing the flow and quality of opening, service and close down
● Regular virtual communication with the rest of the team via Slack (daily handover, updates on stock, staff conduct and other issues as they arise)
● Managing staff performance and communicating issues with this to line manager as they arise
● Overseeing customer experience
● Happy to cover chef shifts if needed - full training given.
● In charge of setting the tone of professionalism in the workplace
● Working closely with manager every week to ensure smooth running of service and maintenance of staff conduct.
● Running the restaurant when manager isn't there
● Contributing to improving processes and the growth of the company
● Cleaning, deep cleaning and washing up
● Making and packaging sides
● Working with deep fat fryers
● Good understanding of ingredients and allergens for our vegan & Gluten free menu
● Vegetable prep.
● On feet being active for all of the day, lifting stock, hands on work.

● Attendance to weekly management meetings

KITCHEN ASSISTANTS ('NINJAS')- FULL/PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE
